Source: Lionsgate The film that can clearly be called the 'launching pad' of modern psychological horror is back for new blood as Adrian Lyne's Jacob's Ladder premieres on Blu-ray Disc September 14th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
The 1990 classic stars Oscar® winner Tim Robbins (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Mystic River, 2004) as Singer, a mild-mannered Vietnam vet thrust into an unsettling journey filled with fear, bewilderment and strange fascination.
Singer (Robbins) is tormented by the vivid memories of war and the heartbreaking death of his son. Demonic visions and hallucinations begin to haunt him day and night, leaving Jacob disturbed and searching for answers. Unsure if he is suffering from post-traumatic stress, dementia, or something paranormal, Jacob finds himself quickly spiraling out of control in this taut psychological thriller.
Jacob's Ladder
Jacob's Ladder will be featured in 1080P High Definition Widescreen and includes an audio commentary with the director, deleted scenes, a “making-of” featurette along with the theatrical trailer.
The Blu-ray disc's SRP is $19.99.
