Source: from Anchor Bay Entertainment Our friends over at Anchor Bay have sent over the artwork and details for the straight-to-video release of New Daughter, coming to Blu-ray and DVD on May 18th.

The New Daughter follows the James family, as John (Kevin Costner, Mr. Brooks) tries to rebuild his family after a painful divorce. John has his hands full raising his youngest child Sam and especially his adolescent daughter Louisa. As Louisa’s troubling behavior continues, far beyond the average tween angst and frustrations, John begins doubting his parental abilities. But when events around the James household start taking on an increasingly mysterious nature, John realizes that his family may be in mortal danger.

The film marks directorial debut of the renowned international filmmaker Luis Berdejo (screenwriter of classics [REC] and it's US equivalent, Quarantine), and co-stars Gattlin Griffith (Couples Retreat) and Ivana Baquero, (Pan’s Labyrinth), in her first English-speaking role.

Bonus materials on both the DVD and Blu-ray include Audio Commentary by Berdejo, Deleted Scenes, Behind The Scenes featurette, and Theatrical trailer.

The New Daughter will be available on May 18th, 2010 for the suggested retail price of $29.98 (DVD) and $34.98 (Blu-ray Disc).
