Still from 'Dead Creek
Still from Dead Creek
Our good friends over at Ill Co. Productions are burning up with more buzz on their short film, Dead Creek, as it's co-star Taryn Hough announces it's debut as part of this year's Terror Film Festival line-up!

Running from October 20th to October 24th in Philadelphia, PA, the 2009 Terror Festival will premiere Dead Creek at 3:15 PM during its 'Splatter Saturday, Splatter Shorts' screening on October 24th. Carol's review of the film last month calls it "a creepy horror short well worth seeing," so if you're in the area show some love, and also let us know what you thought of the films!

Directed by Mike Turner (Primevil), Dead Creek tells the story of two sisters, Jess (Kerrin Jeromin) and Erin (Taryn Hough); having spent the day hiking through the back woods and taking photos; they soon realize that they must get back to civilization by sun-down. Forced to cross a muddy marsh, they will come face to face with the terrible tragedy that took place there so many years ago. As dusk approaches, they are haunted by ghosts of their past and the evil that lurks along the muddy banks of Dead Creek.

Feel free to download the festival's schedule (PDF), or grab your tickets now!

We'd like to send out a HUGE congratulations to the cast & crew of Dead Creek and Ill Co. Productions, and hope there are more festivals coming their way very soon!
