Jacob Hastley (Leonardo DiCaprio) has the ability to dive into people’s dreams to extract information. Ariadne (Ellen Page), a young college student studying in Paris, is a part of Jacob’s team who actually “creates” the dreams and Ariadne is an “architect” of the theme, as she has the ability to engineer them.
