Promotional poster for Kim Jin-Won's The Butcher
Folks, this little pic may incite a barf bag hand-out to go along with the ticket.
Just when you thought you'd have to wait for the next Hostel to roll around and tingle your gorge, distributor Distant Horizon plans to bring Korea's snuff-filled flick, The Butcher to America this July. Directed by newcomer Kim Jin-Won, The Butcher follows a married couple afflicted by a loan shark and faced with a team of snuff film producers who torture them in a stomach-churningly unpleasant way.
That said, the trailer currently hosted on YouTube will hit you with an age restriction page, and is seriously best observed at home and with an empty stomach.
