The Last Game You'll Ever Play...
Now whenever I see a movie in theaters or pop one into my trusty DVD player, I try to keep an open mind. Even if a movie stinks, I'll finish it to see if there was anything even remotely redeeming about it. Now that I have seen Are You Scared 2, I'm left to wonder: "Wouldn't a root canal have been more enjoyable?"
The movie's premise sounded interesting enough: An online, world-wide treasure hunting game becomes the hunting ground for a psychopath. So, with eyebrows raised and believing this story idea held promise, I rented it.
Well, folks, this dreck of a movie starts out bad and only circles the drain from there; and now I remember just how awful the original Are You Scared had been. Why Tony Todd (Candyman) and his deep sexy voice came within fifty-clicks of this movie is beyond me. I hazard a guess that he regrets that decision.
A mere 13 minutes into this movie, I was fully prepared to gouge my eyes out with a grape-fruit spoon to stop the pain. It is quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen.
So, run, save yourselves from Are You Scared 2!
Recommended only as litter-box liner.
