Johnny Depp and Oscar-winning director Tim Burton have joined forces once again for the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's acclaimed musical thriller, Sweeney Todd. The December big-screen release will be memorialized in print with the official companion volume to the film, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, by Mark Salisbury.
This stunningly illustrated, full-color hardcover includes a foreword by Burton, more than 200 photographs and illustrations, storyboards, excerpts from the screenplay, interviews with the cast and crew, and Burton's own concept drawings and production designs.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mark Salisbury is the former editor of Britain's popular movie magazine, Empire, and author of numerous movie books, many in collaboration with Tim Burton, including Planet of the Apes, Tim Burton's Corpse bride: An Invitation to the Wedding, and Burton on Burton.
